Online Yoga Classes

Please download the latest version of ZOOM (we would recommend leaving plenty of time for this, so that you can avoid any last-minute hiccups before class starts) https://zoom.us/

Select a class from the list below and once booked look out for an email from us with the ZOOM link around 30 min before start of class.
 
Click on the link and join the class 10 min before class with your audio and video turned on so the teacher can say hello. You can then go off and do other things or get settled in the relaxation before the class begins.

How to prepare

How to prepare:


Set up your yoga mat in your favourite home yoga spot and place your computer in front of you.If you like props you can make sure you have your own pillows, blankets and books to use nearby but all you really need is yourself. We recommend to sign on 15 min prior to the start of the session.We are so looking forward to practicing with you. Love and Light. Yin and Yoga.

Wednesday

Beginners Yoga 9.30-10.30

Whether you are new to yoga or are
familiar with the practice, Beginners yoga will help you develop balance, strength and flexibility without feeling overwhelmed or confused. In this class we will take our time to get into postures focusing on the basics. We will combine yoga postures and breathing exercises to strengthen the body, reduce stress and calm the mind. No yoga experience is required.

YinFlow 9.00-10.00

​

YinFlow is a balanced practice of both the Flow (action and Yin (stillness).

YinFlow energises the body, mind and heart leaving you feeling strong, stretched and relaxed by the end of the class.

 

Instruction is detailed and modifications are many so it is also a great class for beginners and those with different types of physical limitations.

Mondays

Yin Yoga 9.30-10.45

​

​It is a slow paced style of yoga with mostly floor based postures held for longer periods of time (3-5 mins). Yin yoga targets stresses the deep (yin) connective tissues of the body: ligaments, tendons, joints, bones and fascia. Some of the yin postures are followed by more dynamic (yang) counter postures to move stagnated chi (energy flow) and to create a balanced and a complete yoga practice. All levels welcome.

Thursday

Essential Flow 7.45-8.45 pm

​

Essential Flow is a slow paced yet dynamic yoga class which links fluid movement with the breath, creating a movement meditation from beginning to end. We start with warming the body with a variety of sun salutations and then build on this heat with standing and balancing postures to tone and energise the body. The seated and finishing postures allow time for deep stretching, detoxification and relaxation. Expect to leave your mat feeling energised and toned with a sense of mental calm. All levels welcome.

Saturday

Bikram Inspired 9-10am

​

This class is derived from and inspired by the Beginners Bikram yoga sequence. Yin & Yoga’s Bikram Inspired Yoga introduces some slight variations and modifications to bring balance and softness to each class. Taught at room temperature (not hot!) All levels welcome.

Tuesday

Restorative Yoga 8-9pm

​

This class is designed for deep relaxation. The class will begin with centering the body and mind, followed by gentle stretches and restorative postures to gradually open the body and develop a sense of deep restoration. Props will be used to support the poses so that you can relax completely and open gently. Finish feeling refreshed, restored and renewed! All levels welcome.

Pregnancy Yoga 10.30-11.30

​

A yoga  class especially designed to support women through the phases of pregnancy by using gentle postures to create ease, build strength, and deepen connection with expectant mother. All levels welcome from second trimester onwards. Please check with your doctor before beginning.
